When you text them.

When you call them.

They don’t care. They may act like they care for a little bit while in one another face. But after that moment passes, its over. If it will not benefit the other person in anyway why  would they even be apart of it. Think about it; going out to eat with friends, you can easily sit in the house talk on the phone, text, or they can come over and talk and catch up. HOWEVER, if you say hey lets grab lunch its awesome and one would have for a mere moment somebody else to sit eat food with them, find out what they are up to, and compare that persons life to their own on the drive home or to the next destination. thats how it works. If they hit that same exact person and say “Lets catch up” that person will say “We really need to, sometime this week? …” false hope. these two people will probly never see each other. When you randomly see people on campus and they ask “When are you graduating” or “Whats next” they just want to see what your doing compared to them. trying to judge their life based off of yours, or lack there of. They don’t care what you have been up to, where you have been, how you are. Nobody does. Once I get that through my little optimistic brain, things will start to become much easier.
